Sushi On is where the locals go to get some rockin’ rolls

It lives up to the hype.

One of the best things about running a Facebook page with over 15,000 local foodies—you have plenty of people to ask for recommendations on where to get the best anything around here.

Which is exactly what we did when it came to our recent craving for sushi—and boy, did you all deliver.

Topping the list of recommendations was Port Coquitlam’s Sushi On. We scoped out the spot by ordering the Godzilla roll, the spicy tuna roll, the crunch spicy tuna roll, negitoro battera, salmon oshi, and negitoro maki.

All the dishes were superb, but it was the fully-loaded Godzilla roll that really stood out as a must-try.

It’s clear that the quality and freshness of the ingredients (as well as how they’re packed in such an aesthetically pleasing way) make this spot stand above the rest to the readers who chose it.

And for those of our subscribers who might be a little further west of the Tri-Cities, you’ll be able to check out Sushi On closer to home at the restaurant’s Burnaby location.

Now—and we’re sorry, we just have to say it—let’s get our sushi oooooon.
