šŸ½ I need a party tray

Give me all the sushi

Hey foodies!

Happy 2024, and welcome back to another edition of the tastiest email youā€™ll get all week.

We were in the ice cream mood yesterday and hit up Vashti Rose. Now, I love Rocky Point, and it was the first ice cream shop we visited when we moved out here, but I think Iā€™m going to give the edge to Vashti in terms of best in town.

Their vegan cardamom was out of this world

OPEN NEARBY

Texas Smoke BBQ open Tri-Cities location near Tri-Cities

Last weekā€™s news that Texas Smoke BBQ was opening in the Tri-Cities was, er, a bit off. The company said they were coming here soon and had carnivores drooling at the news.

But they got their geography mixed up and actually opened at the Pitt Meadows Food Truck Spot (about 20-45 minutes away from Coquitlam Centre).

So youā€™ll have to travel a bit further than expected if youā€™re in the mood for ribs and brisket!
